A pledge to commit to the cause of Global Missions
A movement of pastors committed to bringing global change.
Pastors Jack & Carol Hanes have been leading their local church since 1987, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to both local and global missions. Throughout their ministry at Imagine Nations Church, they have exemplified the biblical mandate found in Acts 1:8, which calls believers to impact both their immediate community and the ends of the earth. Their dedication to this vision is evidenced by an extraordinary financial commitment: over the past two decades, they have directed 50% of their church's income toward mission work, both locally and internationally.
Recently inspired by The Giving Pledge, an initiative launched by Warren Buffett in 2010, Pastors Jack and Carol Hanes are now extending a bold invitation to fellow pastors worldwide, challenging them to join in pledging half of their churches' income to advance mission work globally.
Drawing parallel to the biblical account of Gideon's 300 chosen warriors (Judges 7), we envision uniting 300 dedicated pastors who will make this significant commitment. This coalition of church leaders will form a powerful movement dedicated to advancing God's Kingdom through strategic and sacrificial giving. Together, this group will demonstrate how local churches can create unprecedented global impact through intentional financial stewardship.
The Pledge
If God helped me, showed me how and brought the provision, I would be willing to pastor a church that gives half of its income to missions.
